12 Things Tuesday is Back!
it's been way too long since we've done this... let's get into it!
Hello my loves and happy Tuesday… or should I say, happy 12 things Tuesday! It’s been way too long since we’ve done this and I miss our weekly staple in list form. Who is here for a fully reinstated weekly 12 things?! LMK below!
Anyway, I hope you are all doing amazing. Life has been so overwhelming lately, and I don’t think it’s just me. There is a lot going on in the ethers & astrologically that is causing a heightened level of ~chaos~ in a lot of our lives, which brings me to my word of the week: peace.
The only thing I am interested in cultivating in my life at the moment is pure, resounding, peace. Anything that doesn’t provide more of that or plant the seeds for it has got to go. Will get into that more in the list below.
Alright, shall we? Let’s dive on in. :)
12 Things Tuesday:
1. We are settling into the new house and it has been such a dream. I have to pinch myself ten times a day to remind myself that we actually *live in a house* that we fully manifested—that it’s our current reality and not something we are waiting for any longer. I simply cannot believe it. About ten times a day I stand somewhere in the house (or the yard), plant my feet into the ground and just say, “I am so blessed. I am so blessed. I am so blessed. Thank you, God/universe for this beautiful miracle.”
2. That said, I am also noticing the experience of how wild it is that when we manifest something we’ve desired for so long, how QUICKLY it just starts to feel “normal.” Not in a bad way, but something to notice!!! I always felt like the moment we landed in our house everything would change and I would be 100% happy all the time (lol definitely a wishful way of thinking) but of course, “wherever you go, there you are.” Even so, this house is making me so happy & I am staying on myself to make sure I don’t fall into the feeling of this is just NORMAL—this is extraordinary and what we’ve been wanting forever!
3. I made the most delectable 4-ingredient homemade marshmallows over the weekend and the recipe is live on my Instagram, check it out! They’re dairy-free, gluten-free, refined-sugar-free and definitely kid-approved. I am having my coffee with a marshmallow in it as we speak!
4. We just hired interior designers to help us bring the vision of our new home to life and I am sooo excited. I always knew that when we moved into a house I would want to start mostly fresh with furniture, art, vibe and energy—and although I have a strong vision, I wouldn’t say I have a natural eye for home decor. I can’t wait to go through this process and also take you guys along for the ride!
5. It is such a nice juxtaposition to hear birds chirping outside of our windows every morning as opposed to traffic and sirens in the city… the perspective shift I have been craving for so long.
6. My ultimate dream for this house is to get a HUGE crystal to put in our entryway!! Maybe an amethyst, rose quartz, smoky quartz, selenite… I am open. But I am putting it out there that I am manifesting a massive crystal—and also a crystal side table for our bed. And so it is. :)
7. I am on a bagel kick lately. I have this weird thing going on where I am nauseous 24/7 (no, I am not pregnant, I promise lol and I am 100% certain) and a lot of foods do not sound good to me. Especially for the first half of the day I legitimately have to force myself to choke down food. I actually had this experience postpartum last time as well, and I think it has to do with hormones/gut health. That said, BAGELS are my life right now lol. Egg bagels are my fave and also pumpernickel. With egg salad!! Mmmm.
8. We went to Malibu this weekend for the first time after the fires and it was so heavenly to be back in our family’s happy place. We went to a cute little family farm that does farmer’s market Saturdays, and Atticus got to take a tour of the chicken coop and see a gorgeous peacock up close! I think this is going to be our new Saturday routine… it has to!
9. Last week’s podcast episode about the Apple Cider Vinegar TV show went a little too viral and it reminded me: my goal is not to go viral. Ever. Yes as an online presence I love to reach more people and connect with as many likeminded amazing individuals as I can, but usually going viral means being subject to a lot of controversy. Fielding comments over the weekend that ranged from cruel to ~psychotic~ was really not great for my nervous system, and reminded me of the key fact that I live for: eliminate what doesn’t help you evolve. Turn a blind eye to the negativity. Next time I won’t even address it. This is the last time you will ever see me do so!
10. I signed with a new management company a few weeks ago and it has been such a wonderful experience. I am working with so many brands again that I absolutely love—I took a bit of a break from posting brands on IG over the last few years but I missed it. I hope you love the content you start to see from me that is more brand-focused! You know I am as picky as they come and I only share the BEST of the best with you guys. <3
11. Living outside of the city is wonderful but I really need to learn how to limit my driving days. Last week I went into the city 4 times and I am just not built to sit in the car that much. I am looking forward to carving out more and more time to just be here in our new neighborhood & environment and get to know everything about it inside and out… and build a world HERE so I don’t leave so often!
12. I am just obsessed with my kids—they’re at such fun stages. 3 years old and 7 months old. I would love to freeze time if I could. Let me know if anyone figures out how. :)
How are you guys? I love you alllll and I am so thankful for each and every one of you. Thank you for the support and love and just being your kind, amazing selves. <3
