12 Things Tuesday
Life Updates, Things I'm Loving, Seasonal Changes, & Something That May Surprise You...
Hi, hi! Happy Tuesday. I think this might mean I am officially back on my weekly 12 Things Tuesday kick, and I am thrilled about it because it’s been my favorite part of the week for that reason for… almost 12 years now. How did we get here, besties? How are the years flying so fast?
As I sit at my favorite cafe in my new little town, sipping an iced tea and munching on an avocado toast with poached egg, I can’t help but think—damn, I am lucky. This life I’ve been manifesting and calling in for so many years has arrived. I am here, living in a beautiful house with my healthy children and my soulmate. I got out of the city, something I’ve been desiring for a long time now. My days look like this—i.e. I get to post up at a coffee shop all day & WRITE!
And yes, I’ll be filming some content later and I have the blessing of working with so many brands I love which helps pay the bills, and I have grown to be extremely grateful for that too. Later I’ll be picking Atticus up from his dreamy Waldorf homeschool pod in Hidden Hills while Delilah rolls around on the grass with our nanny who feels like family to us, and, well, life is good. REALLY good. Has never been this good. And I share that with you because I know it’s possible for all of you too, whether you’re already there or whether you’re working toward it, or whether it’s a distant pinpoint for now on the faraway horizon… it will be yours. It will. And so it is.
Btw, these vibes below are the vibes I am feeling today and now I want to recreate this pic!
So with that little intro ditty, let’s get into today’s list. 12 ! Things ! Tuesday !! Yahoooo!
12 Things Tuesday:
As I was driving to the cafe to write today and pondering a topic I ponder all too often, friendship—how thankful I am for it, how much my friendships mean to me, and how glad I am to have solidified my non-negotiables and things I just won’t put up with anymore, etc.—I realized, I SHOULD WRITE A BOOK ABOUT THIS TOPIC. I know, I know. One thing at a time. I am working on my memoir right now that is set to come out in 2026 with Hachette, and I am also writing fiction, and writing for Substack almost every day as well as writing my heart out on Instagram (lol), but my god… I want to write the friendship book. The taboos and the nuances and all the things people JUST don’t talk about. You know? Who’s here for it?
Speaking of fiction… it’s not here quite yet, but if you want to follow along on the fiction journey, follow here! My dear friend Kelsey reminded me it would just be a bit too random to keep all of my writing on THIS Substack, so we are parsing it out for peeps that are interested. Keeping it structured over here. I would love to have you following, it’s literally a dream come true working on the fictional world that’s lived in my head for the last multiple decades. <3
Our whole family is on an eczema healing diet right now. It’s pretty hard core. Both my kids and I struggle with bad eczema, and Jonathan has a lot of skin sensitivities too. I finally hired an eczema specialist (holistic health coach vibes) to help us, and wow—I can’t wait to take you guys along for the ride. We’ve only just started but there are so many foods we have cut out for now… I feel awful for Attie because it’s a lot of foods that he loves and he doesn’t fully understand why we can’t have them or how long it’s going to take for it to start working. But at the same time, he is so perpetually itchy which breaks my heart and I just can’t stand to see him suffering, so I KNOW it’s going to be so worth it.
I talk more about the eczema diet in tomorrow’s solo episode of the podcast! It’s an audience Q&A, where you guys call in and leave voicemail questions! It was such a fun one. I freaking love hearing your voices. We do them monthly, so be sure to call into speakpipe.com/thebalancedblonde to leave your VM to be featured in an upcoming episode! You can either leave a question, a message, a thought/musing… anything! It’s been such a fun new way to connect with you guys and I am loving it. Infinitely grateful.
Lastly on the eczema front, I also created this eczema healing list of my top favorites for both myself and my kids. It’s easily one of the top questions I get. Next, I will create a list of foods/snacks/recipes I recommend for eczema healing. Although I can use nearly NOTHING on my face because my skin is so sensitive, I use this every night to moisturize. Jonathan discovered it and he uses it too. So if you’re hyper sensitive like us… try it out.
Getting a coffee machine has been truly life changing. I kind of want to do a budget tracker to see how much $ I’m saving by making coffee at home every day. But then that might require me to not get coffee when I’m out also which I just can’t commit to. 😂 It’s my one treat in life, okay!!! But if you’re interested in the coffee machine we got, it’s this one and I love it. Should I have Jonathan do a tutorial for us on IG?!
On the eczema healing diet you can pretty much have any kind of clean protein, so we’ve been doing a ton of ground turkey, ground chicken, turkey bacon, ground beef, etc. with veggies. You can also have beans and quinoa and sweet potato soooo let’s just say all of that has majorly been in our rotation lately!
We have two weddings coming up in the next few weekends and I am so excited. First is one of my best friend’s little sister who is also a dear family friend, and one is another one of my bestie’s Alexi. :) I am in Alexi’s wedding and I am so looking forward to it… I feel like I haven’t been in a wedding in the last few years, after the influx of a bunch of my friends getting married a couple of years ago. One is in Santa Barbara & one is in Palm Springs, eeeek I can’tt wait!
To the first wedding I am wearing this light pink dress, I love that it’s floor length and feels like the perfect vibe for a formal SB spring wedding. I am also getting my makeup done for the first time in a long time (like probs since way before I had Delilah?), so that will be fun. To the second wedding I’m wearing this floral green gown, which truly feels like the perfect bridesmaid dress. I won’t give away the full vibe of what she’s having us bridesmaids wear/her color scheme, but I will share more after the wedding! <3
It makes me so nostalgic to think back to our wedding, which I can’t believe will officially be six years ago come November… and 11 years of knowing each other, and 9 years of dating!!! Like I said, THE TIME FLIES!
One of my best friends Lily Ashwell is hosting her life changing astrology blueprint course again beginning March 23rd, that she only runs twice a year! Lily is easily one of the kindest, purest, most in her integrity friends and teachers I have ever known. The way that she views & teaches astrology is like entering a full world in and of itself. I feel like our souls come from the same exact place in the universe and I am so proud of her… I feel so seen in her work and she is TRULY a next level channel. If you’ve been wanting to learn more about astrology, take her course!!!! You can find all info on her website, and tune into her on my podcast (episode 343) to learn more about her if you’d like to dive into her vibe before signing up. <3
Speaking of podcasts, WHO IS LISTENING TO THE TELEPATHY TAPES??!! Oh my word. I need to geek out with someone over every single facet of this show… I want to have the host of it on my show. Can we make this happen? Tell me all of your thoughts and then some so we can do a deep dive!!
Love you all! Hope everyone is having a fantastic Tuesday! What’s your fave thing on the list / what did I miss?!! Love you all!!

Love these posts and so excited for you and the weddings!!🤍🤍
need to discuss the telepathy tapes!!! so mind blowing and so much to discuss - especially how can the average person approach this potential to develop such an incredible talent
